Minister Jarmone Davis is the youth pastor at The Shepherd’s House (TSHICC) who serves with an extraordinary passion for music, youth and young adults. He is an award-winning producer/songwriter, a worship leader, and speaker dedicated to helping others discover and fulfill their purpose. His work within the music industry and with youth began over 15 years ago. His ministry has radically impacted countless lives.
With a desire to inspire and ignite his generation, he created a weekly vlog entitled, The Text Message where thousands of followers are motivated to think, speak, and do better. In addition, he broadcasts The App Bible Study every Thursday on Facebook Live, which has accumulated thousands of views.
Minister Jarmone’s zeal to see youth succeed expands beyond the walls of the church. He can be seen in his current role as the Spiritual Life Director for The House, an after school ministry in SE Washington, D.C. that equips high school students with spiritual and practical tools to live purpose-filled lives.
Affectionately known as Minister Jar by the youth and young adults of TSHICC, his genuine love for people and life is felt by many. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from Howard University. Indicative of his future as a music writer and producer, he is a recipient of the Trailblazers of Gospel Award for writing Bishop Marvin Sapp’s chart-topping hit entitled, Yes You Can.
My greatest advice is to utilize the promises in the word of God. If you do what HE says, you can’t lose.
