Living Free Support Group

Time: 10 a.m. – noon

Instructor: Dr. Diane Ward

Living Free is a small biblically-based life-changing group experience that frees you from mindsets and behavior patterns that keep you from being all that God has created you to be. People encounter many, spiritual, emotional and physical issues during their lifetime, and are searching for how to properly handle conflicts within themselves and with others. No one is exempt. Even in church, people hide painful struggles behind Sunday smiles. The pain may come because of your own or a loved one’s life-controlling problem, destructive behavior pattern, co-dependent relationship, difficult life circumstance, or even a personal struggle with sin that no one else knows about. Everyone faces similar situations at some time in life and Living Free offers help in ways that are effective and biblically-based. Living Free builds character and relationships, provides life skills, social skills, communication skills and gives hope and confidence in dealing effectively and biblically with the demands and challenges of everyday life. It is for freedom that Christ has set us free: Free from sin, free from pain, free from guilt, free from shame, free from condemnation. Free in Him. And God wants us free to be all that He has called us to be. Though Living Free is an effective tool to help those with life-controlling problems and destructive behavior patterns it is designed to interest and benefit everyone. You may not be struggling currently with a problem, but you may have invaluable knowledge, experience, and wisdom that can help someone who is. This is a “Body” ministry, and we welcome all. Our Living Free curriculum presently consists of two 9-week and one 12-week modules, which build one upon the other: Insight, Concerned Persons, and Anger. You may take one or all three modules; however, Insight is a prerequisite to taking either of the other two.
